The Arts Learning Area at Dianella Secondary College fosters creativity and self-expression through a wide range of artistic disciplines. Our curriculum is designed to inspire students, helping them develop their artistic talents and explore various forms of visual and performing arts.
Lower College
In the Lower College, students are introduced to the world of the arts through engaging courses in music, visual arts, and media. These subjects allow students to experiment with different mediums, discover their creative potential, and build foundational skills in the arts.
Senior College
As students advance to Senior College, they have the opportunity to specialise in their preferred artistic disciplines. Courses available include General Music, General Visual Arts, Media Production and Analysis, as well as Design and Photography. These courses provide students with the chance to refine their skills, deepen their understanding of artistic techniques, and prepare for further study or careers in the creative industries.
