Students from the Year 11 and 12 NNEI Cookery program achieved outstanding success as finalists in the HGT Taste of the Future Cooking Competition.
Angela from Dianella Secondary College and Soe from Girrawheen Senior High School (NNEI) competed against twelve finalists from across Western Australia. Following 45 minutes of preparation and 45 minutes of cooking and plating, both students received highly positive feedback from the judging panel.
Angela was awarded second place and was highly commended for her professionalism, technical skills, and the quality and presentation of her dish. Soe also performed exceptionally well, finishing fourth overall. The college congratulates both students on their outstanding achievements and thanks Chef Carlo for his ongoing guidance and support throughout the competition.
