What an incredible day for our Year 11 Certificate II Cookery students! Huge thanks to Ally Simes from HGT and the Chef Ambassador program for her inspiring talk today.

From sharing her experiences in hospitality to practical tips on hygiene, mise en place, and knife skills, she truly engaged our students! The Q&A session was so lively, we ran over time! Plus, who can resist learning while enjoying delicious Chicken Quesadillas with Guacamole?

But the learning didn’t stop there! Our students took Ally’s advice to heart, whipping up Meatball Banh Mi and Vietnamese Chicken Salad open sandwiches afterward. It’s fantastic to see them embracing new techniques and flavors!
